THE CATHOLIC AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY NEWS AND INFORMATION UPDATE FOR SEPTEMBER 2022.

THE AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SEPTEMBER, 2022

  1. We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
  2. We remember those celebrating their birthdays this month. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections. Amen. 
  3. A gentle reminder of our African Chaplaincy Family Rosary every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome. 
  4. The African Chaplaincy invites you to the very important Chaplaincy Child Safeguarding Training on Saturday, the 8th of October in Crosscare Mainstreet, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. Time: 11.00 am to 3.00pm. Andrew Fagan, the Archdiocesan Child Safeguarding Contact Person will facilitate this training. Certificates will be awarded and Garda vetting forms will be distributed to all participants to fill.
  5. The death has been reported of Mr Cyprian Okechukwu, the father of Sister Loveth Okeke of the Lucan/ Clondalkin Centre. Our thoughts and prayers are with our sister and her family at this trying time. Sister Loveth can be reached on +353894812054. 
  6. The death has been reported in Nigeria of Mr. Gilbert Ozoemena Ejike, the elder brother of our Brother Donatus Ejike.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the  Ejike family at this trying time. May God grant them succour. Brother Donatus Ejike can be reached on +353 87 949 4601 for commiserations.
  7. The news has reached us that our brother, GuyGuy lost his mother recently in Belgium. Brother GuyGuy can be reached on phone number 086 344 2676 
  8. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
  9. You are invited to the Memorial Mass in honour of late Ezinne Rachael Adamma Ihezie on Friday 23rd September, 2022, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Lucan, Dublin. Time: 7 PM to 9 PM. She was the mother of Mrs Chinyere Ukah of Lucan/Clondalkin Centre of the African Chaplaincy Dublin.
  10. You are invited to the Memorial Mass in honour of late Chief Mrs Grace M. Umeh on Saturday 22nd October, 2022, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Donaghmede. Dublin 13, Ireland. Time: 3 PM to 5 PM.  She was the mother of Mrs Rita Umeh of Phibsboro Centre.
  11. The Chaplaincy commiserates with our members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.

The African Chaplaincy Of The Catholic  Archdiocese  of Dublin is a vibrant worshiping community of people of many tongues and tribes and nations of African extraction and all who desire to worship in the spirit that is true to our native air.

To God be the glory, the African Chaplaincy has continued to grow from strength to strength and has recorded great improvements in the Organisation of spiritual events aimed at bringing the African community to worship together..
