African Chaplaincy December 2022 News and Information Updates!!!

THE AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR DECEMEBER, 2022

  1. We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
  2. We remember those celebrating their birthdays. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections. Amen.
  3. A gentle reminder of our African Chaplaincy Family Rosary every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
  4. You are invited to the African Chaplaincy Advent Retreat on Saturday 10th December 2022 at 11am, via zoom. This Year’s Advent Retreat Theme is: CHRIST’S WITNESSES AS WE JOURNEY TOGETHER IN THE FAMILY OF GOD. The Retreat Moderator is: Fr. Peter Ewaoche Johnson. Zoom link will be sent as soon as possible.
  5. Considering our present circumstance and the weather forecast for this weekend, the African Chaplaincy Christmas Carol scheduled for Sunday 11th December, 2022 at St Vincent’s Castleknock College is hereby cancelled.
  6. There will be no African Chaplaincy Masses in Blanchardstown and Swords Centres on 25th December, 2022. All are urged to join their local Parishes for the Christmas celebrations.
  7. You are invited to the African Chaplaincy New Year Vigil Mass on Saturday 31st December, 2022, via zoom. Time: 9:30pm.
  8. There will be no African Chaplaincy Masses in Phibsboro and Balbriggan Centres on Sunday 1st January, 2023. All are urged to join their local Parishes for the Sunday Mass.
  9. You are invited to the Memorial Mass of Late Mrs Beatrice Olisanweokwu Nwajei on Saturday 7th January, 2023 at Saint Patrick’s Church, Strand Street Skerries, Co. Dublin, K34 VK26. Time is 2:30pm. Late Mrs Beatrice Nwajei, aged 94, was the mother of Bro Azuka Nwajei, the Coordinator of Balbriggan Centre and the mother in-law of Sister Charity Nwajei, the CWO General President.
  10. The Chaplaincy commiserates with our members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.

The African Chaplaincy Of The Catholic  Archdiocese  of Dublin is a vibrant worshiping community of people of many tongues and tribes and nations of African extraction and all who desire to worship in the spirit that is true to our native air.

To God be the glory, the African Chaplaincy has continued to grow from strength to strength and has recorded great improvements in the Organisation of spiritual events aimed at bringing the African community to worship together..
