ANNOUNCEMENT FOR DECEMBER, 2023
- We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
- We remember those celebrating their birthdays this month. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections. Amen.
- A gentle reminder of our African Chaplaincy Family Rosary every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
- You are invited to the African Chaplaincy Mass of Remembrance for the dead on Wednesday 29th November, 2023 via zoom. Time: 8pm. Our members are requested to send the names to be placed on the altar list for the dead to their Centre Coordinator as soon as possible. Note: The names of people that died this year will be called out during the Mass.
- The African Chaplaincy CWO invites you to their AGM on Saturday 25th November, 2023 at Lucan Spa Hotel. Time is 10am.
- The African Chaplaincy CYO holds their Conversation on Saturday 2nd December, 2023. Time and venue to be confirmed.
- There will be African Chaplaincy Liturgical Committee Meeting on Wednesday 6th December, 2023 via Zoom. Time is 9pm. Members are encouraged to join.
- You are invited to join in the African Chaplaincy Advent Retreat on Saturday 16th December, 2023. Venue is St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. Time is 10:30am. All are welcome.
- You are invited to the African Chaplaincy Christmas Carol on Sunday 17th December, 2023 at St. Aidan’s Church Brookfield Tallaght. Time is 6pm.
- The African Chaplaincy Lay Readers Association will have their end of the year meal on Saturday 30th December 2023. Members are encouraged to attend.
- The African Chaplaincy invites you to the New Year Vigil Mass on Sunday 31st December 2023. Venue is St. Finnian’s Church, River-valley, Swords. Time is 9:30pm.
- You are invited to the Memorial Mass in honour of late Mrs Esther Nwakaku Okugo, on Friday 1st December, 2023, at St. Finnian’s Church, River-valley, Swords by 7:30pm. Late Mrs Okugo was the mother of Sister Edith Okugo of the Swords Centre.
- The African Chaplaincy, Dublin continues to commiserate with Bro Albert Odoemene of Tallaght Centre on the death of his sister Lady Euphemia Nkemjika Onuoha and his brother-in-law, Josephat Okoroji, Sister Tina Odoemene’s brother. To Bro Albert and Sister Tina, please be consoled, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
- The Chaplaincy commiserates with our members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
