- We thank Swords Centre for hosting last Saturday’s Family Rosary. There were (25) individual devices connected to to the service.
The Next Family Rosary will be hosted by Tallaght Centre on the 9th of September 2023 at 8pm.
- On Sunday the 3rd of September being the 1st Sunday of the month, our Chaplaincy Masses held as follows:
A) Balbriggan Centre, SS Peter and Paul Parish, Main Street, Balbriggan, at 5:15pm.
B) Phibsboro Centre, St Peter’s Parish, Phibsboro, at 2:15pm
- We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs. May God bless them all, Amen. For those who travelled, may God grant them protection and journey mercies. Amen.
- We remember those celebrating their birthdays this week and throughout the month of September. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections, Amen.
- We continue to remind our members that the African Chaplaincy Family Rosary continues to hold every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
- We congratulate our young people who recently received their CAO points for college admission. We appeal to young prople still awaiting further points advice to be patient and to speak with dedicated guidance councillors or Fr Cornelius if they are unsure of what to do. Wishing you the blessings of God and success in the days ahead, Amen.
- All interested parties are invited to join in the Lay Readers Training scheduled for Saturday 7th October, 2023 at the Chaplaincy office, Crosscare Blanchardstown. Time is 3pm to 4pm.
- St. Vincent’s Choir, African Chaplaincy will have their monthly choir practice on Saturday 7th October at the Chaplaincy office in Crosscare Blanchardstown. Time is 1pm to 3pm. New members are encouraged to join.
- The African Chaplaincy CWO trip to Mexico holds from Monday 16th October to Sunday 22nd October 2023. We pray for journey mercies, God’s protection and guidance on all who will participate in the Pilgrimage to Mexico.
- All participating in the African Chaplaincy liturgical celebration to mark this year’s harvest are invited to join in a liturgical practice on Saturday 28th October 2023 at St Finnian’s Parish, RiverValley Swords. Time to be confirmed.
- The African Chaplaincy invites you to the 2023 Harvest Thanksgiving on Sunday 29th October, 2023 at St. Finians Church Swords. Time is 2pm. All are welcome. It is good to give God thanks.
- The African Chaplaincy CMO Convention holds on Saturday 4th November, 2023.Venue to be confirmed. All the CMO members are encouraged to attend.
- The African Chaplaincy has been invited to the holy matrimony between our Brother Calistus Ogechi and our sister Ifeoma Ogechi on Saturday 18th November, 2023. Venue is St. Finians Church Swords and time is 2pm. All are welcome.
- The African Chaplaincy CWO holds its AGM on Saturday 25th October 2023. Venue is the Lucan Spa Hotel. Members should endeavour to attend.
- The African Chaplaincy CYO holds their Convention on Saturday 2nd December, 2023.Time and venue to be communicated after confirmation.
- There will be African Chaplaincy Liturgical Committee Meeting on Wednesday 6th December, 2023 via Zoom. Time is 9pm. Members are encouraged to join.
- This year’s African Chaplaincy Advent Retreat shall hold on Saturday 16th December, 2023. All are welcome.
- The Catholic African Chaplaincy Dublin’s 2023 Christmas Carol shall hold on Sunday 17th December, 2023 at St. Aidan’s Church Brookfield Tallaght. Time is 6pm.
- The African Chaplaincy Lay Readers Association will have their end of the year meal on Saturday 30th December 2023. Members are encouraged to attend.
- The African Chaplaincy invites you to the New Year Vigil Mass on Sunday 31st December 2023. Time is 9:30pm. Venue to be confirmed.
- The Chaplaincy commiserates with our members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
- We thank our dear chaplain, all church functionaries and the entire membership of the African Catholic Chaplaincy Family for their dedication to the service of God and mankind. May God continue to bless and increase us as we serve in His vineyard through Christ our Lord we pray, Amen
