- We thank Blanchardstown Centre for hosting the online Family Rosary on Saturday 27th of August 2022. Next Family Rosary will be hosted by Clondalkin/Lucan Centre on Saturday 3rd of September 2022 via Zoom @ 8pm. 35 individual devices connected to the last Rosary service and we thank everyone, especially our children and youths who joined in.
- On Sunday the 28th of August, our Chaplaincy Masses will take place as follows:
A. Blanchardstown Centre: St. Brigid’s Parish Blanchardstown at 2pm, and
B. Swords Centre: St Finnian’s Parish River Valley Swords at 2pm.
All are welcome.
- We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
- A gentle reminder of our African Chaplaincy Family Rosary every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
- You are invited to the Memorial Mass in honour of Late Mr. Paul Okakpu on Saturday 10th September, 2022, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Lucan, Dublin, Ireland. Time: 3 PM to 5 PM. He was the father of Bro Emeka Okakpu, a member of the African Chaplaincy Dublin.
- You are invited to the Memorial Mass in honour of late Chief Mrs Grace M. Umeh on Saturday 22nd October, 2022, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Donaghmede. Dublin 13, Ireland. Time: 3 PM to 5 PM. She was the mother of Mrs Rita Umeh of Phibsboro Centre.
- At the time of going to press, the death of Mr Gilbert Ejike was reported. Late Mr Gilbert Ejike was the elder brother of Brother Donatus Ejike of the Phibsboro Centre. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ejike family at this time. May the soul of Mr Gilbert rest in peace, Amen.
- We commiserates with our members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
- African Chaplaincy Dublin has been invited to the 92nd birthday celebration of Anasi Obi-Queen Dora Chukwudi Ugbome Uzumefune (mother of Sister Helen) on the 3rd of September 2022.
Reception to mark Mama’s special day shall hold at the prestigious Nelson Mandela Hall, Duleek, Co Meath, Dublin.

10. Once again, the African Advocacy Network Ireland (AANI) wishes to express gratitude parents and young people who inspired the organisation to put together a brilliant one day summer camp. We appreciate your moral, financial and physical participation. AANI is growing with every step.
11. The Centre Coordinator and members of the Lucan/Clondalkin Centre wishes to thank members of the African Chaplaincy who joined them at their Summer picnic at Corcagh Park on Saturday 20th of August, it was very well attended and we had fun.
12. We remember those celebrating their birthdays this month and especially today. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections, Amen.
13. We thank our dear chaplain, all church functionaries and the entire membership of the African Catholic Chaplaincy Family for your dedication to the service of God and mankind. May God continue to bless and increase you through Christ our Lord we pray, Amen
