5TH NOVEMBER 2022
- We thank Tallaght Centre for hosting the last online Family Rosary. Next Family Rosary will be hosted by Balbriggan Centre on Saturday 12th of November 2022 via Zoom @ 8pm. There were 30 individual devices connected to the last Rosary service and we thank everyone, especially our children and youths who joined in.
- On Sunday 6th of Nov, our Chaplaincy Masses will take as follows:
1) Balbriggan Centre: SS Peter and Paul Parish Balbriggan at 5:15pm
2) Phibsboro centre: St. Peter’s Parish Phibsboro at 2:15pm.
All are welcome.
- We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
- The family of Sir Jesse and Elizabeth Ajoku invites the African Chaplaincy to the wedding of their daughter Vera on November 26, 2022 at St Aidans Catholic Church, Brookfield Rd, Jobstown, Dublin 24. The Chaplaincy congratulates the soon to be wedded couple, their parents and the extended family on this joyous occasion and wishes the couple a happy marriage. We appeal to all members of the Chaplaincy to kindly make plans to attend this August event.
- A gentle reminder of our African Chaplaincy Family Rosary every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
- The death has been reported of Mr Jimmy Kenny Appiah. Late Mr Appiah was the father of Sister Patricia Toah of the Tallaght Centre.
Mr Jimmy Kenny Appiah was 76 years old and died in Ghana.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sister Patricia Toah and her family at this time and we pray that the departed soul of Mr Appiah will rest in peace, Amen 🙏

- The death has also been reported of Mr Oluyemi Isaac Owabumuwa. Late Mr Isaac Owabumuwa was the eldest brother of Sister Comfort and Sister Maybell.
Mr Isaac O Owabumuwa who was 76yrs old died in Nigeria.
We encourage our members to reach out to our sisters for commiserations.
Meanwhile, on behalf of the Chaplaincy, we pray that the departed soul of Mr Isaac Owabumuwa and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
- The African Chaplaincy, Dublin continues to commiserate with Bro Azuka and Sis Charity Nwajei on the death of Mrs Beatrice Olisanweokwu Nwajei. Late Mrs Nwajei is the mother of the Coordinator of the Balbriggan Centre, Bro Azuka Nwajei. She was 94yrs old.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Nwajei family at this time.
- The African Chaplaincy commiserates with our members who have lost loved ones during this period. In a particular way we remember the souls of all our loved ones during this month of November. We encourage our members to visit the graves of our loved ones or lite a candle for them. You can also book a Mass for them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
- There will be a Mass for the dead on Friday 18th November. Members are requested to put a list together of their departed loved ones and send same to Fr Cornelius or your centre coordinator.
- We remember those celebrating their birthdays this month and especially today. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections, Amen.
