THE AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 15th April, 2023.
- We thank Blanchardstown Centre for hosting today’s Family Rosary, there were (34) devices connected to today’s service. Next weeks Family Rosary will be hosted by the Clondalkin/Lucan Centres on the 22nd of April 2023 at 8pm.
- Sunday 16th April is the Feast of Divine Mercy and our African Chaplaincy Masses will take place as follows:
A) Tallaght Centre: St. Aidan’s Parish Brookfield Tallaght at 10:30am and
B) Lucan/ Clondalkin Centre: Immaculate conceptions Parish Clondalkin at 2pm.
All are welcome to attend.
- We remember all our Church members in need of our support and prayers: the sick, expectant mothers, unemployed, students, those seating for exams, families experiencing difficulties, fruit of the womb, right Marriage Partner, homeless families, all who are bereaved and all in various needs, may God bless them all, those who travelled may God grant them protections and journey mercies. Amen.
- We remember those celebrating their birthdays this week and the month of March. We wish them many more years of Divine Blessings and Protections, Amen.
- We continue to remind our members that the African Chaplaincy Family Rosary continues to hold every Saturday via zoom at 8pm. All are welcome.
- May Devotion starts on Monday 1st of May. Families and individuals are urged to pray the Rosary daily during the month of May.
- The African Chaplaincy invites you to the celebration of the Feast of Pentecost on Sunday 28th May, 2023. Venue is St. Finnian’s Church ( Home to Swords Centre), River-valley, Swords. Time is 2pm.
- The African Chaplaincy invites you to join us in a celebration to mark the end of May Devotion via zoom on Wednesday 31st May 2023. Time is 8pm. All are invited.
- African Chaplaincy CMO Retreat holds on Saturday 10th June, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Castleknock College, Dublin 15. All are welcome.
- Corpus Christi Mass on Sunday 11th June 2023 at Divine Mercy Church, Lucan. Time is 2pm. All are welcome.

- You are invited to the Memorial Mass in honour of late Mrs Florence Abiodun Ugbiyobo, on Saturday 27th May, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Yellow Walls Parish, Estuary Road, Malahide, Co Dublin, K36HC99. Time: 2 pm to 5pm. She was the mother of Bro Tony Ugbiyobo of Swords Centre of the African Chaplaincy Dublin.
- You are invited to the Memorial Mass in honour of late Mrs Maria Iwebuke Ukpere on Saturday 13th May, 2023, at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Lucan, Dublin. Time: 3 PM to 5 PM. She was the mother of Mrs Victoria Ukpere-Utuke of Lucan/Clondalkin Centre of the African Chaplaincy Dublin.
- The death has been reported in Nigeria of Mrs Rosemary Adun, the step mother of Brother Fred Izogie Adun of Swords Centre. Our thoughts and prayers are with Izogie Adun family at this trying time. May God grant them succour. Bro Fred can be reached on +353 874569100 for commiserations.
- It is with a heavy heart that we regret to announce the death of Barr. Etukwu Onah, SAN who died in a ghastly motor accident in Nigeria. Late Etukwu Onah was an adopted Son of our beloved sister Felicia Olima of Blanchardstown Centre. Sis Felicia can be reached on +353 87243 0874.
- We regret to announce the passing away of Mrs Grace Uzoaga Isigwe, the mother inlaw of our dear Sister Ifeoma Isigwe of Blanchardstown Centre.
- The Chaplaincy commiserates with all other members who have lost loved ones during this period. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
- We thank our dear chaplain, all church functionaries and the entire membership of the African Catholic Chaplaincy Family for their dedication to the service of God and mankind. May God continue to bless and increase you as you serve in His vineyard through Christ our Lord we pray, Amen
