THE AFRICAN CHAPLAINCY DUBLIN CELEBRATES THE FEAST OF PENTECOST AT THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, CLONDALKIN.

At a well attended Mass hosted by the Lucan/Clondalkin Centre, the African Chaplaincy Dublin celebrated Pentecost Sunday in great style.

The Mass which was celebrated by four priests led by the Chaplain Fr Cornelius Nwaogwugwu CM also featured benediction and the renewal of baptismal vows. The homily centred on the qualities of the Holy Spirit and expectations from a Christian with the Holy Spirit.

The Chairman of the CMO, Sir Dr Denis Chima, the assistant chairperson of the Pastoral Council, Sir Francis Okosun and the Chairman of the 2024 Father’s day planning committee, Brother Fred Izogie also used the occasion to promote the forthcoming Father’s day celebration which commences on the 3rd of June with a retreat and concludes with a Mass and gala night on the 16th.

After the ceremony, the host centre gifted all attendees with take away food and drinks . Everyone that attended were happy and full of praise for the host centre for their warm hospitality.
